MALVINA – Founder
Now we can’t start a blog about the team without mentioning the brains behind all of Bohemia Bay, our amazing director and talented in-house photographer Malvina.
A Czech-born graphic designer turned professional photographer who finally gave in to the ache in her heart after years of working for businesses with harmful practices, to create a place where eco-friendly brands and like-minded creatives can work together to make the world a better place.
What is your favourite sustainable brand?
“I can’t possibly choose one. Le Buns, Sans Beast, Aere, and so many more! I’m grateful for all sustainable brands out there who are doing their best to give back to our planet.”
What is your conscious living tip?
“Be aware, be open-minded and be kind to all living beings. Things are not always as we think or as we are told they are. It’s up to each of us to educate and to open ourself to often hardly believable and acceptable information.”

AMBER – Social Media Specialist
Our new Social Media Specialist may be new to us, but not to the world of digital marketing. With years of experience managing a range of accounts in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries, Amber has worked with clients ranging from small start-ups to large international companies.
Amber knows the ins and outs of social media and how to successfully scale businesses on those platforms. She too has chosen to take the leap to only working with brands who are doing good things.
What is your favourite sustainable brand?
“It’s so hard to pick! The top ones would be Seed & Sprout, they have really great products for easy sustainable swaps. And then Spell, I love their clothes and they are a great example of a brand that is constantly learning and changing to become as sustainable and inclusive as possible.”
What is your conscious living tip?
“Don’t make it complicated and know you don’t have to be perfect! Every little swap for a more sustainable alternative helps in the long run!”

BROOKE – Photographer
Brooke is a highly experienced fashion, lifestyle and food photographer who has been creating images for over 10 years now.
Brooke studied a Bachelor of Photography at the Photography Studies College, Southbank and has shot for large companies such as Spotlight, Anaconda, Swimwear Galore, Genevieve Swim, Luella, TSID, Szep, Tiger Beer and many more.
What is your favourite sustainable brand?
“Wow, that’s a very tough question. I’d have to say it’s a close tie between Maurie + Eve and Seed & Sprout.”
What is your conscious living tip?
“I highly recommend o buy your fresh fruit and veggies from your local farmers market. This not only minimises the plastic use that mainstream supermarkets have but also helps support local farmers. Win-Win!”

SARAH – Graphic Designer
If Sarah had a superpower, it would be turning everything she touches into thoughtful, beautifully crafted, and considered designs. She loves telling stories and evoking emotions through the power of visual communication, and you can bet she’ll work hand in hand with you to create minimal, stylish, and timeless designs for your brand. Apart from beautiful visuals, Sarah is passionate about animal welfare, the environment, and building excellent relationships with like-minded, ethical businesses.

“Ooooh, I have a lot: Only Good (Hand Wash), Very Vegan (Makeup), Bare Bae (Body Scrubs), Sukin (Moisturiser), and Twoobs (Shoes), and Who Gives A Crap (Toilet Paper).”

LISA – Photographer
As a creative and mindful photographer, Lisa has a natural ability to bring people into a comfortable space to embody their unique expression. After having worked in the advertising industry for over a decade, Lisa now uses her beautiful photography skills to help other passionate business owners bring their visions to life. When Lisa’s not shooting, you’ll find her teaching yoga and meditation, baking pecan pie or enjoying the Bayside sunset.
